Pink room with three walls

Pink room with three walls,
A window covers the fourth.
An angel used to live here.
Young betel nut angel with
Her eyes kept low.
Night of plastic diodes,
Twenty strips of light glow.
Twenty sets of wings stripped
Over her back, bare and cold
Under the span of two hands—
Clasp of closing buckles,
Hint of a season's warmth,
A pink dash in stationary
Flight, unmoved by her toll.
