Three women

Three women
gathered outside the shop
selling souvenirs.
It would be another two hours
before the tourists arrived.

The woman in black
lit a cigarette, took a hard sip,
passed it on to the woman in red.

The woman in purple floral design 
waited.

Under the bridge, three crones 
shared a single eye. They took 
turns in telling.
