The construct

This stony wall
I have built before.
I built it with
Invisible stones.
I built it good
And complicated,
For each stone a
Delicate pocket
Was placed within
The void of the core.

The heart of space
Was empty enough
To insert a
Whisper, something light
And small, something
That would stay, despite
Being captured
And manufactured

Into a part,
Into a mere note
Of a great piece
So magnificent
That even the
Sound of it falling
   —Was hushed.
