Seven apples

The monkeys bicker
Over feeding arrangements:

Three apples in the morning and
Four in the afternoon

Or four in the morning and
Three in the afternoon—

The zoo keeper snickers
At the shortsighted beasts.

But who could blame them?
In today's corporate settings

Monkeys are known to be cheated
Of their afternoon feast.
