I see the city renewed over the horizon
As hopeful as euphemism—bright and shiny, 
That's how they would describe it.
Might as well plot the course now and
Call it what it is. At least it would serve better

As proof of existence. Meanwhile 
The neighbour's brown mutt is sitting by the curb 
Again and barks like hell.
